Ever since I did this maternity session on a ferry boat (feels like forever ago now!), I’ve been DYING for a family to pick the ferry for their photo session location! So, obviously when the cutest family ever (you’ll see) said they wanted to do a session on the Vashon Ferry, I was ecstatic.

Now, you may be thinking… Casey, you live in Colorado now, why are you blogging a session from the ferry?  It’s all true, friends.  There are no ferries in sight here in Colorado.  But I blog all of my photo sessions (a new one is featured every Friday) and this was next in my queue.  Plus it was one of my favorite sessions of the year.  ALSO, don’t forget, I will be coming back to Seattle 2-3 times a year so if you’d like to book ferry photos for your family during my next visit, LET’S DO IT!

As you can see we kicked things off under the pier while we waited for the next ferry to arrive.  These boys are too handsome for their own good, am I right?

Then, we boarded the ferry to Vashon:

We had so much fun that at one point they made an announcement over the entire boat “Please no running fun on board!”  Oops!
