The session that almost never was.

Gwen & Jasper’s mom reached out to schedule family photos timed with Jasper’s first birthday.  He woke up that morning sick (I don’t photograph sick babies… it’s not fair to them or fun for me!).  We rescheduled.  We woke up on the new date to find it was pouring rain.  We rescheduled.  Travel schedules and busy calendars got involved.  Suddenly, we were talking about 18 month photos instead (yes, 6 whole months passed).

Persistence pays off, friends, because when we woke up for attempt #5,108,265, we found THE MOST BEAUTIFUL, SUNNY DAY!  Here are a few of my favorites of Jasper, big sister Gwen & family:
