Oh, it’s been so much fun to watch this kiddo grow up!  From maternity, to newborn, to six months to ONE WHOLE YEAR OLD!  The first year is the BEST to photograph because the kids change so dramatically between sessions!  [Sidenote:  Curious about the timing I recommend for professional photos of your baby?  Read my recommendations for the first year!]

I met Henry at The Arboretum on a beautifully sunny and DRY evening earlier this fall (well before the non-stop rain came and dumped on my fall schedule… thanks for that, Seattle!)  Here are a few of my favorites from his session:

At his six month session, Henry’s parents predicted he’d still be bald at one year and they were right!  If I get to see him next year (fingers crossed!) it’ll be interesting to see how different he looks with a head full of hair!

That last shot with his fingers pointing up like ‘I’m ONE!’ is my favorite!  What a cutie!
