When I entered the elevator of their downtown Seattle condo, the very very friendly doorman asked ‘Are you here to babysit?  Or to help them pack?’

“No, I’m here to take photos!  I sure hope they don’t expect me to do much packing!” (babysitting would be an easier sell)

Luca’s family’s condo was on the market as they were getting ready to move overseas just a few short weeks after our session (sounds a lot like this family, who oddly enough contacted me on the exact same day!).  It was the perfect setting to document Luca’s six months portraits.

Here are a few of my favorites:

I LOVED Luca’s nursery.  The ‘Read to Me’ wall with letters covered in old book pages was really, really neat.  I’m so glad they hired me to do this session (would have been easier to skip in the midst of a move and the chaos of showing + selling a condo!) because they’ll be able to look back at these and conjure up so many fun memories.

Come on… Luca… that smile!  You’re too much!  What a happy, happy little guy.  Six months is the best.
