Oh, baby, this guy sure didn’t make it easy for his momma.  After photographing little Henry’s parents at their Golden Gardens maternity session [some of my very favorite maternity images!], we planned to see each other again one week after their due date.  The due date came and went.  The tentatively scheduled photo session date came and went.  At nearly 42 weeks pregnant, during an abnormally hot summer, Henry’s momma called herself ‘the most pregnant person ever’ and, at that moment, I think she was probably right.   Poor thing.  I can’t even imagine.

Of course, Henry didn’t stay put forever and I did eventually get to meet him!  But only after we had to reschedule two more times due to some post-partum urgent care visits.  Like I said… this cute little guy certainly didn’t make it easy.  It’s a good thing he’s so darn cute!

But come on… check out these guys.  Looking completely unphased by everything they’d just gone through.  Sweetly snuggling their beautiful & absolutely perfect new addition.
