meet henley

When Henley’s Mama reached out to me to schedule newborn photos, I described my typical newborn session:  a mix of sleepy poses on a beanbag & lifestyle family photos… usually taking 2-3 hours.  She asked if we could just turn it into a lifestyle session instead and skip the sleepy baby poses part.  So, we did...

meet kaelyn

This little girl may look sweet, but she sure gave her Momma a heck of a time on her way out!  Poor thing had to postpone photos because of an extended hospital stay after nerve damage caused her to lose feeling in her legs (thankfully temporarily, but still for a couple of weeks)!  When I...

meet aurora

It’s a brand new year so it seems appropriate for my first featured session of 2016 to be a brand new baby!  This newborn session was unlike any of my others and ultimately became one of my favorites of all time.  Little Rory (Aurora) was older than my usual newborn clients so we opted to do a more...

meet charlie

Little Charlie was such an amazing early Christmas present, born December 14th.  And when I met him, just seven days later, the house was so very peaceful and calm.  Yes, with three children.  These kiddos have some really talented parents. Oh, isn’t he just the sweetest?  So brand new that he still hadn’t lost his belly button....

meet jack

After taking big brother’s 1 year photos [still one of my very, very favorite Seattle sessions!], I couldn’t wait to meet this sweet family’s newest addition!  Jack’s mom is a friend of mine and it was really nice to go through pregnancy at the same time.  I had Jill exactly one month after this session and I vividly remember my surprise...

meet marcus

This little peanut was born less than two weeks after I did his momma’s maternity session [seriously, go back and check it out- how amazing did she look for someone that close to giving birth?!  I’m pretty sure I was a puffy mess at that point in my pregnancy.]  At the maternity session, mom & dad...

expecting baby brother – seattle maternity photographer

Maybe it’s because half of the country is getting pummeled by snow right now, but as I was sorting through images from this session to share on the blog, I found myself longing for summer something fierce.  The sun highlighting their faces & making the leaves sparkle behind them.  The warm wind moving through mom’s hair...

meet luke – seattle newborn photographer

Oh, what a sweetheart, this guy.  Little Luke.  It may have been that I was just weeks away from welcoming my own baby when I did this session, but I just couldn’t get enough of his squishy little rolls. Luke’s momma had a cool idea for his newborn photos & asked if I’d be able...

waiting for baby sister

Nicole was the organizer of the very first Meetup event I attended, just days after moving to Seattle.  She hosted a little playgroup in the park and we sipped on some bubbly beverages while the less-than-one-year-olds played on the blankets around us [still one of my very favorite Meetup memories]. Almost exactly one year later,...

meet jillian!

I am so excited to introduce you to our new Baby Girl!  Jillian Louise joined us the morning of October 4th! Her arrival couldn’t have been more perfect [ok, well, I wouldn’t have complained about a little less pain].  After stressing about backup plans for Colin, the ‘right’ flight timing for my mom’s visit & having...

featured product: mini albums

Gah!  Mini albums are my absolute favorite product.  I feel I haven’t done them proper justice on the blog so when these mini albums arrived today, I took a moment to let them shine in front of the lens. Mini albums are 3″ x 3″ sized which means they’re perfect for tucking into your purse...

meet hannah

At the maternity session, I asked Mom & Dad if they’d already picked a name for Baby Girl.  They explained that they each created their own secret list of names to be shared at the hospital, after her birth.  It was a concept I’d never heard before, but instantly loved.  [although not for me, personally…...

HI, I’M MISS FREDDY.

Actually, my name is Casey. As a newborn I resembled Fred Flintstone so my parents nicknamed me Freddy and it stuck. I am a professional photo organizer (yes, that's a thing!) who helps people all over the world make sense of their photo mess through organizing services and self-paced online courses.

I want to help you ENJOY your photos again!
