seattle tree farm photo sessions: the recap!

Oh, you guys… it was such a wonderfully busy fall season for Miss Freddy!  A record-setting 47 sessions (dang!).  Here are the seventeen beautiful families I photographed for my tree farm mini sessions in November. You may notice there’s a wide variety in these images because what initially was ONE day of minis ultimately ended up as SEVEN different...

100th post & a happy birthday!

Dang!  This is my 100th blog post.  ONE HUNDRED POSTS!  Coincidentally, it happens to line up with my anniversary of launching Miss Freddy in Seattle. While I totally did not plan that, when I realized both milestones were happening simultaneously, I knew I had to do something fun to celebrate. The theme of the week...

waiting for little sis

The sun was out in full force when I met this sweet family in Mercer Island.  In November.  In Seattle. We have been blessed with such a fabulous fall & early winter.  I’m so glad I was able to take advantage of the weather with some sun-soaked images of soon-to-be-big-sister Brynn and her parents. Photographing...

ten months

Colin, Each month seems to go faster & faster.  You’re developing more skills, more movement, and more personality every single day.  I love watching each minute. Since you’re beginning to do more, I thought it would be fun to document 10 months a little differently… by writing down your ‘favorite things.’ Favorite Book:  Little Seal...

seattle, so far

Today marks two months since we moved to Seattle. Since we became Washington residents. And for those of you who have asked how it’s going? Here’s how I feel about it. So far. [even if you, specifically, didn’t ask] My favorite things: 1) The Nature. This is the most beautiful place I’ve ever lived. Hands...

alki beach dinner adventure

It was the Friday before John’s first day of work. His very last day of vacation. We decided to celebrate with drinks & a nice, casual, inexpensive dinner out! We’d been living in Seattle for one week and every time we said “we live in West Seattle”, it was followed by “have you been to...

share to win!

Friends, I need your help!  You see, I don’t know anyone in the Seattle area [yet].  But I’m hoping my friends have friends who have friends who will be my friend. You get the idea. SHARE TO WIN a $25 Amazon gift card (my fave + based in Seattle!) and one lucky Seattleite will win a free photo session...

hello, seattle!

What do you write in your very first blog post on a brand new blog? I have no idea. Nevermind that I’ve been blogging for years.  I just don’t exactly know how to start. So I’ll start with hello!   Let me [quickly] catch you up on my story… I started my photography business while living...

HI, I’M MISS FREDDY.

Actually, my name is Casey. As a newborn I resembled Fred Flintstone so my parents nicknamed me Freddy and it stuck. I am a professional photo organizer (yes, that's a thing!) who helps people all over the world make sense of their photo mess through organizing services and self-paced online courses.

I want to help you ENJOY your photos again!
