life right now [February]

wrapping up the basement construction in the next week. It’ll be so nice to have a play space for the kids to get us through the rest of the winter.

enjoying more balance in my workload now that the kids have been back to school in-person for a month. It’s been nice to NOT work late nights and get more SLEEP!

feeling happy about my new website design. It’s been a long time coming and I finally found the time to make it happen (see above about the kids being in school!)

loving these fleece-lined leggings this winter. They keep me very warm while skiing and aren’t see through! (The listing has lots of different types of leggings and the ones I bought are called “fleece-lined black”).

wearing a new set of “fancy” face masks I recently bought during a sale and they are SO SOFT. Especially in the cold weather.

playing with Paint By Sticker books. Jill loves them and sometimes lets me work on one too.

reading Ask Again, Yes.

listening to American Dirt on audiobook.

eating all the Girl Scout cookies. I should probably feel more embarrassed about how many we bought this year (but I don’t).

getting good responses from students in my Family Yearbooks course about the new Legacy Album mini-course- it was added at no additional cost and has templates to help create a beautiful keepsake album that tells the story of your life. ❤️
