life right now [January]

currently…

spending lots of time in my office. John moved into his own office and the kids have returned to in-person learning so aside from a brief visit from a little ‘helper’ (pictured above), my office is quiet.

loving this adorable matching pajama set I got Jill and her baby (she’s obsessed with it!)

playing lots of Super Mario World with the kids… on my original Super Nintendo system (they like that I can beat all the levels for them). Currently it’s setup ON OUR KITCHEN COUNTER because the basement is still under construction. Looking forward to having a playroom again… next month if we’re lucky.

reading Inheritance: A Memoir of Genealogy, Paternity, and Love.

watching the current season of The Bachelor (yes, really). I gave Bridgerton a try because it was all the rage, but I couldn’t get into it.

listening to an audiobook called The Heart’s Invisible Furies.

enjoying our bath tub more after purchasing this pillow on a whim (I’ve never been a big bath person).

ordering an additional copy of our 2020 Family Yearbook to see what I think of Printique’s fabric cover option (I’ll share more in a blog post soon).

playing around with a new camera setup to scan negatives. I love learning new techniques.

working on a little “mini course” about creating a Legacy Album to pass on to your family (with reflections on your life). It’ll be included in the Family Yearbooks course at no additional cost. I’ll share more when it’s ready!
