life right now [november]

currently…

recovering from a busy Thanksgiving break! My parents came to town and we celebrated Colin’s birthday, my Dad’s birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas (they won’t be visiting next month) and a gender reveal for my brother/sister-in-law’s baby!

putting up Christmas decorations. I worked with Courtney’s Table again to put together a gorgeous holiday table and I love how it turned out (you can see it here).

figuring out my new Samsung Frame TV. If you followed the drama on Instagram, installation was a PROJECT (3 days and multiple surprises) and the TV has been glitchy (turning itself on in the middle of the night which creeps me out). It is a beautiful addition to my office wall though!

planning my first trip to New York City (whole fam is coming)! We currently have a long list of recommendations, but I need to figure out what is realistic + the timing of it all.

feeling mystified by this hair eraser tool a friend turned me onto… I can’t figure out HOW but it works!

watching the latest season of Grey’s Anatomy on Netflix.

listening to Who Is Maud Dixon? on audiobook.

reading Yours Truly on my kindle. I just finished my 130th book of the year over the weekend and am excited to prep my 2023 Fave List (coming next month).

winding down my client work for the year. In my 23 for 2023 list I said I wanted to take December off, but I’ve decided that’s just not feasible with how busy this time of year is for my business. I will be working in December, but mostly focused on behind-the-scenes (not client facing) work until my kids start their winter break.

brainstorming content ideas (IG, blog, newsletter) and starting to fill out my 2024 calendar!
