designing my 2024 Family Yearbook alongside everyone in the Family Yearbooks Support Group. Will be sending to print this week!
feeling uncertain about my social media plan for this year. I have been waiting so many months for resolution from Meta regarding payouts I’m owed (they haven’t sent me one since March of 2023, despite accruing earnings every month). Their customer service is embarrassing. Over the years I’ve built a wonderful community of over 70,000 people on Instagram and on average my content now reaches 2,000 of them. The platforms just show ads and not content from people I follow. I’m tired of it. I don’t want to support them anymore, but I’m just not sure what that means for my own business.
reading We Used To Live Here. Last year I realized that I enjoy the horror genre quite a bit! Hoping this one is good.
listening to A Woman Is No Man on audiobook. Just started it.
watching Ultimatum on Netflix. I took social media off my phone (for the reasons I mentioned above) and wouldn’t you know suddenly I have time to watch TV again.
writing in my Flecks of Gold journal. This was my New Years resolution and I am OBSESSED. I wish I had started this habit years and years ago. What a treasure.
wearing this cute purple sweater. It’s been five years since I got my colors done and it still makes me happy when I add something to my wardrobe in a color I previously would have said ‘wasn’t for me.’ Seriously, when I put this on for the first time every member of my family separately commented on it… even my 12 year old son who never notices these things!
experiencing some relief, after months of heel pain (plantar fasciitis). I’ve tried sleeping with a brace, wearing recovery slides all day, toe separators, and more. But last week I saw a massage therapist and asked if there was anything she could try. After a very intense calf and leg massage, my heel seems to finally be improving!
making Valentines for Jill. She asked if we could try a photo valentine this year (a picture where she’s holding her hand out, then we placed these suckers through the hand). They’re turning out so cute! I shared a photo + a free Canva template for the design inside the Yabba Dabba Do Crew.
loving month one of the Yabba Dabba Do Crew! The things people are accomplishing already has far exceeded my expectations and I can’t wait to watch what happens there this year. Doors close January 31st (last chance to lock in the founding member discounted rate)!
