life right now [july]

currently…

remembering our fourth of july trip to my parent’s cabin in northern wisconsin.  We woke up Colin so he could witness his first fireworks [pictured above] and he loved the colors/lights, but hated the booms.

obsessing over my ‘new’ double stroller.  I stalked Craigslist daily to find that bad boy and already he’s fitting very well into our lives.  It was the small frame that eventually won me over- I love that it’ll easily maneuver through doorways and works just as well as a single stroller.

listening to Rude by MAGIC!.  Saw them perform on Jimmy Fallon and immediately downloaded it.

reading The Lost Wife.  I’ve read a lot of books lately and will eventually put together another favorites post like last year.

watching Big Brother.  I ridiculed John for watching this show, but then of course I got sucked in as well.

feeling happy.  My college roommates just came to visit and it was wonderful to catch up.  I wish we didn’t live so far apart [it doesn’t get much farther than Boston/Tampa/LA/Seattle], but I’m so glad we try to get together for a girls trip once a year.

loving the ridiculously adorable clothes that my college roommates bought for baby girl during their visit.  Itty bitty baby jeggings?  Too much!

working on making room for baby girl’s things.  Closet space is basically non-existent so it’s time to purge [again] to make space for her cute new clothes.

enjoying our CSA from a local orchard.  Fresh cherries, peaches, nectarines, apricots, plums, pluots, nectarcots… you get the idea.  A delicious addition to our summer!

hoping to book the remaining two spots [6:30 & 7:30pm] for my august mini sessions! [see below for details]
