Jill,
You are eleven years old… does that officially make you a tween? You’re definitely growing up quickly, that’s for sure.
I love that dance has become such a big part of your life this year. You’ve graduated to the next level and are now taking three classes a week- hip hop, jazz and this fall you added lyrical. Watching you perform is so much fun… you find a beautiful confidence and fun expression as soon as you step onto the stage.

Recently you’ve really stepped into more responsibility, when we brought home little miss Ella. Boy a puppy is a lot of work, but you handle her with confidence and I can really trust you to be in charge of her. Ella definitely knows how much you love her… it is the cutest thing ever to watch her tail wag wildly when she spots you out the car window at school pickup. Or when she jumps into your bed and burrows beneath the covers to find your face and give you wake-up kisses in the morning.

You still have that love for shopping! For your birthday you asked for money to hit the mall of course. You love to pick out new clothes and put together fresh outfits. But this year you stepped foot into Sephora for the first time and your mind was blown. I can’t believe girls are starting a ‘skincare routine’ so young but boy, your skin will be glowing and healthy well beyond the generation that came before you. You have a cute plush headband you put on while doing your skincare steps… a gentle cleanser, a mild toner, and moisturizer.
I love you so much, Boo (who’s Boo?). I’m so lucky to be your mom.
Love, Mom
